I's Fall & life has been so chaotic & loud lately. Have you ever tried Eucharistic Adoration?
It’s just an hour of complete quiet in a small chapel with Jesus in the Eucharist.
There’s no pressure to pray the whole time—you can literally just sit there, vent, read a book, or close your eyes in peace.
Jesus is offering us an hour of pure rest. Want to go together sometime this week?
What a full and fantastic week it has been! The movie, Triumph of the Heart in the parish was a great success.
We hosted the Don Bosco Grade 9 class, the parish and many visitors for 3 other showings throughout the weekend.
This compelling movie about the life of St. Maximillian Kolbe opened up the opportunity for many discussions about becoming a saint. We may not all be called to give our lives as St. Maximilian Kolbe did as a martyr, but we are all called to live heroic & virtuous lives wherever God puts us.
Many thanks go out to parishioner, Colette MacArthur, who brought the idea forward to purchase the licensing for the film. Her passion to share & witness the faith with young people & our parish is exemplary.

We have also begun to visit our local parish schools for Opening School Year Liturgies and Adoration.
It’s always a pleasure to join Fr. Colin,
Fr. Lawrence and Sr. Katrina as we “bring the Church” to the students & staff at the schools. Other schools will join us at the parish next week.

Has Your Child Missed a Sacrament?
We Can Help!
Is your child or teen not yet baptized Catholic, or have they missed one or more of their Sacraments? It’s never too late to take the next step in their journey of faith.
Our parish is here to help children & teens prepare for the Sacraments they may have missed, including Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, & Confirmation.
Who is this for?
- Children & teens who have not yet been baptized Roman Catholic
- Children & teens who have missed one or more Sacraments
- Children & teens who need help catching up in their sacramental journey
For those 14 years of age and older: they may inquire about preparing for the Sacraments themselves.
If you have questions or are unsure about what your child needs, please contact the Parish Office. We would be happy to talk with you and help you find the right path for your child.
Every child deserves the opportunity to know & grow in their Catholic faith.
Let us walk with you and your family on this journey.

Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” When he had said this he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
John 2:21-23
If your child is in Grade 2 or older & you would like them to prepare & celebrate the Sacrament of First Reconciliation & First Communion please register today.
He took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying,
“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying, "This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”
