Sunday Hospitality & Fellowship, hosted by the Legion of Mary Ministry, will be this Sunday, May 3, after all Sunday morning masses & 12 noon mass in the St. Francis Room. Everyone is welcome to come for refreshments, some homemade baking & fellowship with other parishioners.

The St. Bonaventure Knights of Columbus are holding a Mother’s Day Family BBQ next Saturday, May 9th following the 5:00 pm mass in the hall downstairs.
All are welcome to join in fellowship and celebration of the Mothers of St. Bonaventure, This is a free event. If you wish to make a donation towards the Knights' charitable giving initiatives, that would be most appreciated.
Roses will be sold on the Mother's Day next weekend, May 9 & 10. Volunteers are urgently needed to help with sales after masses.

Mother's Day Rose Sales- Volunteers Needed!
About 4 weeks ago, we concluded a prayerful & inspiring 40 Days for Life campaign. Many churches & community groups came together in unity to pray outside the Kensington abortion facility.
We were grateful to have the presence of priests, young adults, & many others who are deeply committed to protecting the most vulnerable. Each person offered a powerful witness through their faith, courage, & compassion.

The St. Bonaventure Catholic Women's League invite Grade 12 students who are enrolling in a post-secondary school to apply for their $1000.00 scholarship.

The St. Bonaventure Scholarship Society provides scholarships for Catholic Students from St. Bonaventure Parish who are graduating from Calgary Catholic High Schools.
To be eligible, you must be a graduating grade 12 student who is enrolling in a post-secondary program.
The $1000 award will be made by the selection committee that considers church involvement, financial need, academic achievement & extra-curricular /community involvement.

It’s hard to believe that this Ablaze Friday Youth Night will be May 1! As we enter the month of May, the month of Our Blessed Mother Mary, the rosary is offered every Friday evening in the parish for anyone to join at 7pm. This Friday, we also celebrate the feast of Saint Joseph, the worker. Let us continue to entrust our lives, our families, this ministry, & our parish community to the hearts of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, & Joseph.
At Ablaze Friday Youth Nights, we will continue this week with the bigger discussions about what’s happening in our culture right now - with our study on Catholic social teaching geared for young people.
Ascension Press Connected: Catholic Social Teaching for This Generation, introduces sound Catholic teaching on creation, life, race, poverty, & the family.
There are five engaging sessions that will be intertwined throughout all of the fun and games - from now until the end of the school year.
